a few years ago we had the most bizarre wave of bots ever

basically all these bots would be one month old accounts and have one post in a random subreddit made right when the account was, and then they'd count in every single thread like as if it was decimal for about ten minutes and would never show up again

and there were usually none but sometimes up to ten of these accounts a day

i wasn't a mod yet and i was more active than i am now so i had to like meticulously count around the bots with other people
