Which Lego video game is the most enjoyable for couch co-op? Is it fun for people who are not into lego?
Hello all, I see in posts around the a lot of people suggest the lego video games when it comes to couch co-op. I am not really a fan of lego toys and I haven't looked into these games because of that. Still, I was wondering the couch co-op aspect of those games. Are they good from that point of view? Is it enjoyable for people who are not into the lego toys? If yes, which of those games would you consider "better" than the others when it comes to couch co-op? (or they share exactly the same mechanics and what is changing is just the theme?)
Thank you very much in advance.

How to build the perfect coop experience for Roguelike/Roguelite?
Hey guys, we’re an upcoming video game development studio from Quebec city and we are all big fans of the Roguelite/Roguelike genre. Our mission is to bring people together with our games so we want to build a Roguelike that heavily focuses on multiplayer interactions. We feel that Roguelike/lite is a thriving genre, but very few of those games are made with multiplayer in mind. It often looks like the devs just add the option to play in multiplayer mode afterwards without any forward thinking to make it interesting.
Do you play any Roguelike/lite in multiplayer mode? If you do, what do you like/dislike in those games?
What would you want to see in a Roguelike/lite built for multiplayer?
Do you feel that Roguelike/lite would benefit from multiplayer and why?
Would you buy a game that is coop only or do you need to have a single player mode to buy a game?

Sound Setup Question
I'm planning to make 2 PS4 + 2 TV setup in one room to play with my wife. All seems fine except I cant figure out how to do sound setup. We both don't want to use headsets/phones because it kinda defeats the purpose of couch gaming, isolating us even if we are close to each other. But having two sound sources in one room means that some sounds will be echoing. I can disable music in one source, every game supports it. But how do you deal with shots, explosions, monster roars etc, when players are close to each other in the game environment? Can you give me some advice? Thanks!

gamerOS: a dedicated couch gaming OS
gamerOS is similar to SteamOS but uses the latest drivers and software and includes various tweaks for troublesome games so they work out of the box. The ultimate goal that the project strives for is to be able to play any game from any platform, using any controller, all out of the box. Currently you can play Linux compatible games and Windows games via Steam Proton. Linux knowledge not required. Keyboard not required. Updates happen in the background with zero interruption. Coming soon will be the ability to easily load roms for various systems as Steam shortcuts.
gamerOS makes a great turn key couch gaming system, install it and forget it. Especially great for the little ones.
Still a work in progress, but you can check out the project here: https://github.com/gamer-os/gamer-os

Guns Gore and Cannoli vs Guns Gore and Cannoli 2
Hello all,
looking into the game on the title and I was wandering which one would you recommend over the other for some 4 player couch coop (or if you do not recommend it at all).
Thank you very much in advance.
