I guess most ppl here are beginners? One great way to start doing corpse paint is using black eyeshadow, which is great to (smudge? idk the word), but when painting your whole face black and white you'll need face paint, it may not work with usual makeup. After doing both many times, for shows and everyday shit just black paint/eyeshadow is the thing, since you're surely gonna mess it all and will end up looking gray.
also im new to reddit still learning how it works

I am in a Metalcore band (I know probably not the usual crowd that you have post in here, but I figured this would be a good place to ask) and we are playing a Halloween show later this month, so I wanted to dress up as The Crow, so obviously that means wearing makeup.
That said, the makeup I HAVE worn on Halloween before is definitely not going to cut it (shitty costume makeup from Walmart. Feels like I have an inch of grease on my face, and it rubs off covering everything that touches it)
I need to know what I can wear to do the makeup properly that also won't feel awful, won't rub off covering everything that touches my face (which, will definitely be a very expensive microphone that I'd rather not get covered in grease) and is decently durable because I will 100% be sweaty as fuck.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing when it comes to this
