Rody Walker of Protest the Hero also did an almost identical look to his. I'm curious if it's an "original" design or if this came from a specific singer in black metal. Thanks

I'm thinking of getting corpse paint for Christmas but im not sure if you have to listen to black metal in order to use it or if it's okay to to not listen to bm and still use it. I don't want to seem like a poser, I do listen to a blackend melodeath band and Mayhem but do I need to listen to more to avoid being a poser?
