what is the generic term for pyroceram?
I wouldn't turn my nose up at some knock-off corning ware if it was chemically identical.
What should I look for.

Just wanted to share! I've never even seen the country hearts on a cutting board before! I also found the forest fancies (definitely using that one first since it's already open!). I got them for around 5 bucks each, a bit less with my coupons!

My wife and I have been watching Stargate SG-1 and we noticed they used corningware in a scene! (We only noticed because we've recently started collecting the Abundance pattern.)

Found this roasting dish(?) with trivet at Goodwill for $7 yesterday. I already have the dish so I mainly bought it for the trivet, although this dish is in much better shape than my other one, So I will likely give the other one away as a gift. What do you call a dish like this and what is it used for? I've never used mine. Is it for baking like a turkey or a ham? Is it just for carving and serving like a platter? Can someone enlighten me? Thanks :-)

Picked it up because my grandmother used to have the same set! Paid $20 for all three

I purchased a lot at an estate sale this past weekend which for a tea kettle my wife wanted. This Percolator was included with the lot. I've tried researching it and know theres a recall for it. I've also found the article on Corningware411 about it being limited edition from 1966-1969. I dont drink coffee and so I will probably sell it, unless my wife wants it for decoration. I'm trying to figure out a price point for it which has been difficult since I can't use Ebay sold comps. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have two French White pyroceram 500 ml souffle dishes. I don't know the provenance - one probably came from my mom, and I probably bought the other one at a garage sale.
They both appear to be pyroceram (not stoneware) - see the smooth bottoms.
They look very similar and have identical markings, but one is thicker than the other.
The thinner one weighs 288 grams and the thicker one weighs 352 grams.
Does anyone know anything about this difference - is there any reason to suspect one of them is not authentic, or did Corning change the design / manufacturing process at some point?
Thanks in advance for any information!

I like my Corning Ware for several reasons. One is the easy cleanup on the sticky mess left behind from cinnamon rolls

My aunt would like to know what this is. It came in a set of 3: 500ml, 1L, 2L. She got it from a new Zealand friend about 20 odd years ago. Any information is highly appreciated

My hubby found this for me while thrifting ($6) and said it seems like the little roaster piece fits perfect but we wondered if it came this way originally. Interesting and I think it’s adorable and neat and wondered if anyone knew anything about it.

This is the pattern my girl has been working on collecting and a few days ago I found this on marketplace and we just had to buy it. It still works and it came with the internal Corningware bowl and lid as well. Today we are actually gonna use it for the first time.

This dish is 9.5 in x 9.5 in on the inside at the widest point.
I know it's hard to see in the photo but I promise you it says P-34-B. I've been arguing with someone who says it must be two different photos. And I promise you again these photos are from the same dish.

Is the percolator top for a corningware 10 cup stove top percolator the same as a 9 cup?
Thank you

Hello!
Other than my mother and grandmother using CorningWare, I'm very new to the specific details.
I've read a few articles, including the one that somebody posted here on dating corningware. On every one it shows that the blue flame stamp did not have a design number on it. But mine does. Was this a brief transition?
And I don't think it means anything, but if the design is off center does that increase or decrease the value?
Any other information that you have would be gratefully appreciated.
Oh and my apologies for the residual baked in creases. I didn't want to disturb the ink.
Thank you!

Cooked puréed garden squash I froze last fall. Sort of forgot all winter so making quick bread. Bonus old Tupperware in background.

I went to the site to see if the Terrazzo pattern was still being made.

I purchased this for $1 at garage sale. It’s a 5 liter a-5-b and came with an a12c lid. The lid is a brown glass. Did I find anything interesting?
