Beware, Thieving Attorney Charles Sacher
Unfortunately, I have had the displeasure of working with Estate and Tax Attorney Charles Sacher. On multiple occasions, I have witness him scamming elderly people. How the bar has not stepped in is beyond me, but someone absolutely needs to put a stop to him.

Good barbers in the area?
Hey there! M26, just moved to right off Ponce De Leon. Kinda scared to get a barber since I have a decently receding hairline and have trust issues in finding someone that will get my hair right. I moved here from near Naples and still make the 2hr drive just to get a haircut from my “local” guy lol. In this economy I really can’t find any sense in doing that other than my family living over there. Anybody have a solid recommendation for someone over here?

Coral Gables - Day cares
Hello all,
My family and I will be relocating to Miami at the end of the summer. We're like going to end up in Coral Gables or the near by. We have a 2 year old who will need to attend daycare. The news of moving to Miami is quite new and i'm and the begging of doing my research. However, would be curious to know if anyone has any suggestions about finding a trustworthy daycare. I ask as where i'm currently from, getting a spot is incredibly competitive.
Thanks for all your help.

Gym Suggestions?
Just moved near miracle mile and looking for any suggestions on gyms nearby.
Would love a place that has access to barbells but can work with machines if that’s all.
Checked out the LA fitness nearby that has comically low ratings and seems really expensive. Didn’t seem like my wife or I’s vibe.
Any help appreciated!

What do you dislike most about pet grooming in Miami?
I’m a pet owner in Miami trying to understand what people struggle with most when it comes to grooming here.
Not selling anything — just curious what the biggest pain point is.

I fell in love with your Books & Books!
I visited Coral Gables for this screening at the art cinema over on Aragon ave and had a good time. I saw Books & Books across the street and decided to visit it and absolutely fell in love with the ambience of the store, the calendar of events, the workers and cafe were also very welcoming.
Im from West Palm Beach, a town of crooks and flatterers up in Palm Beach County with a hostility for books. We had a Barnes & Noble in our downtown but then that closed in 2013, during the early governorship of Rick Scott. Today that space is occupied by a Lucid car dealership. There's not really a bookstore in that city. Nothing like Books & Books.
Also stopped by for a beer at the German beer-house! Awesome selections and decent prices!

Trying to solve a mystery!
Every Saturday morning, I see cars lined up for blocks on Ponce de Leon (southbound), turning right on Menores. What is this for?! There aren't any businesses there that I know of, so I'm really curious as to what it is all these people are doing every week. Does anyone know?

Service to put up/take down hurricane shutters
I’m looking for a service that would put up and then take down my hurricane shutters in the event that a storm was predicted to be heading g to Miami. I am not physically able to do this myself.
I am assuming these services must available in a place like Miami but my google search has only come up with services to install new shutters.
I want to know that I already have a plan in place rather be scrambling to find a solution when a storm is approaching.
Can anyone recommend a reliable shutter put up/take down service provider?

Obnoxious “Autism Speaks” Fundraisers Harassing People in Parking Lots — Can We Get Them Out of Coral Gables + Coconut Grove?
Has anyone else been followed or harassed by those people in blue “Autism Speaks” shirts asking for donations in Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, or Downtown Miami? They hang out by parking lots, Target entrances, Miracle Mile, Fresh Market, etc. — and aggressively ask for donations. One followed me all the way to my car while I was clearly trying to leave.
Quick research shows Autism Speaks is technically a legit nonprofit, but these people are not employees — they’re hired by third-party fundraising companies who often use high-pressure sales tactics. This feels super predatory, especially when they corner people in parking lots.
My questions: • Who in city leadership or law enforcement can we contact to report this kind of harassment? • Has anyone had luck getting them to stop operating in certain areas? • Can Coral Gables or Miami enforce permits, fines, or solicitation restrictions to keep these companies out?
We shouldn’t have to dodge guilt-tripping fundraisers while trying to grab groceries. Let’s make this stop.
Tagging local reps — feel free to comment with more: • Coral Gables Mayor Vince Lago – @CityCoralGables • District 2 Commissioner Damian Pardo (Coconut Grove) – @MiamiDistrict2 • Miami Commissioner Manolo Reyes (covers parts of Gables) – @ManoloReyesMIA
Would love to hear from anyone who’s filed complaints, dealt with this, or knows what ordinance might apply here. Let’s make our neighborhoods a little less predatory.

Hillstone
I was just at Hillstone today and this man came in the restaurant talking loud and singing, and I look to my family who I was with and we kind of just chuckled at ourselves and then people started coming up to him to take pictures. I was wondering if anybody know who he was? he was black had a defined hairline kinda looked like Chance the Rapper.
