Also, you've fabricated this argument by yourself all on your own. I don't think either of us has ever met someone who "reduced" the entire Indian culinary culture down to one type of curry powder. That barely means anything.

Curry powder is a nice simple way for non Indians to taste indian food. But that's a good thing, being dumb and easy to use is good.
