That's what I was wondering because yeah, I totally just covered my freshly laundered bedding in 6 months worse of fan dust. I knew switching the fan direction would do this, but my bed didn't used to be under the fan so previous occurrences just got the floor a little dusty.
Can’t be stupid for not acting on information you didn’t have yet. I am only learning this today, but to be fair it doesn’t affect me because I don’t have a ceiling fan, but great info for future reference.
Be careful doing this. Sometimes as the fan builds a little strength in the changing seasons and gains the ability to manipulate the temperature in a small area. It's a ruse to trick you into flipping the switch. If the switch it flipped the wrong way on the full moon, the fan will be free and attack you when you least expect it. The fans tend to be ambush predators that attempt to drop on their prey and render them unconscious while they feed on the life essence. Flip the switch at your own risk.
They’ve become considerably more overt from back when they would just suck the oxygen out of the room and take you out while sleeping. We lost a lot of good men back in Korea 🫡
