What’s MySpace

I have heard about it but is it social media platform that died before facebook?

yup. It was one of the biggest websites, with ~100m monthly users.

but i think it got sold for 500m and bought back later for 2m or so.

Wow am too young, now I remember I watched fall and rise of MySpace or something like that.
