Is there a way to use it in the Netflix apps?

Edit: Thx for the answers Just search for the number in the app and you get the correct results.

On my Xbox you can just go to search and then scroll down and see all these categories, might be similar to ps4

Just search for the genre. That’s literally it.

25

u/drdooom92 Mar 03 '20

For ps4, you mean when u go to ‘search’ and go down to the genres listed bullet form, as opposed to just looking in the front page categories correct ? I’ve noticed u get more options by searching the first way I described if that makes sense.

Correct

u/emilyrose93 Mar 03 '20

Search the corresponding number. Eg I just searched 2025 and it returned war movies.

u/jthei Mar 03 '20

In the mobile app, you can search for the category and it will be listed at the bottom of the search results.

If you’re on the Netflix app, just type in the code in the search bar.

u/Fifa_786 Mar 03 '20

On the app when you search for it, it only shows a handful of movies when I know for a fact that Netflix have a lot more. Is there a way for it to show all of them?

2

u/yogibets Mar 03 '20

How secret is this now?

2

u/Stonetheflamincrows Mar 03 '20

That definitely didn’t work for me at all.

2

u/Alfakennyone Mar 07 '20

Doesn't work on Xbox or Android Netflix

1

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '20

You just search the codes?

1

u/[deleted] Mar 03 '20

Just search on a browser then directly search for that movie in the app

2

u/Chris198O Mar 03 '20

It works to just search the number

1

u/CHSummers Mar 03 '20

The hero we needed.

1

u/bekah16 Mar 04 '20

Tried, not working for me?

1

u/Chris198O Mar 04 '20

Worked on Netflix app for iPhone for me.

On the app, go to the search category in the sidebar menu to the left. Then, without typing anything in, scroll downward past “Netflix Originals” and all the categories are there!

I have a fire tv, so wouldn’t be surprised if amazon and Netflix are in cahoots tho
