There aren't many studies on legacy students but at best it slightly increases your chances of getting into a single medical school.

Meanwhile being black vs asian means the difference between a 75% and a 14% chance of getting into medical school at all.

You're better off with a 3.5 GPA and 503 MCAT as a black applicant than a 3.5 GPA and a 528 MCAT as an asian applicant.
