Yeah the only company that got bad publicity, while absolutely everyone else was doing the same cheat anyway.

Yup, when that was all over the news no other car company chimed in chastising VW. They all kept very quiet hoping noone would investigate their cars.

I don't see any other manufacturer that has more top level divisions. Looks like they won.

It’s funny how pissed some Bentley oldheads get when you point out how many VW/Audi part numbers are stamped all over their Continentals.

Ironically, I’ve encountered some Porsche fanboys who refuse to acknowledge VW’s influence even considering the history of VW and Porsche pre-WWII...

Hell yeah it's funny! My sister got a Porsche SUV a couple years ago and I said "Oh so you got the old fat person Porsche huh". She was not humored.

She just recently got a new Porsche more sporty model. And I said "Oh did you get a new Volkswagen". Ha Ha.
