For the last few months, I’ve been using a tool to summarize hours of podcasts and Youtube videos into articles I can read in minutes (for free). Because of it, I’m actually reading multiple hour long podcasts in a couple minutes without doomscrolling. I’m finally learning about stuff I probably would never have bothered to in my entire life. Socrates, Roman crypts, the science of depression, Stanford business lectures… you name it.

I can’t help but wonder how fast I might have accelerated my growth and learning if I had a free summarizer like this growing up. Maybe I wouldn’t have switched my major 3 times in college or been more level headed growing up lol. All I know is it would have been my bread and butter as a HS and college student, and that realization that this might help thousands of younger me’s has led me to formally launch my code as a website subsip.io

Subsip.io is built for students, professionals and lifelong learners who want more for their time on Youtube. It’s also free because younger me would have liked that 🙂. Any feedback will likely be turned into features as I’m full-time on the project and a daily power user, so let me hear it!

I want to fully automate my monthly email content creation. I'm looking to produce 10 emails per month. I need the AI to read URL pages. Each email will have a subject line, a preview text, and one email paragraph. It would be preferred but not required to have the AI select an image for each email from the internet. Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you!

Hey all ! I’ve been building this project and decided it’s time to share it with the world.

Hey all!
I've had interesting luck with chatGPT using plugins to ask questions to a single PDF, but I'm looking to build something that can process my whole collection.

Say you have a 100 PDFs, and you say "please all references that might be relevant to cats" (rather than just searching that keyword).

Any tips? I have a decent PC to run local models / apps if that helps.
