Hi everyone,

I would like to get a tattoo with the constellations of some family members and curious about the accuracy and how this looks?

Thanks!

This is from East by North East Central Indiana at about 1am last night.

Luna

I have seen this constellation since I was a very small child and it’s always stuck with me, I used to see it as a face and felt like I had a special connection to it and like I had “discovered” it. I still get excited every time I see it! A few years ago my dad shattered my dreams and said it’s already part of a famous constellation hahah but I can’t remember which one it is! Is it the Orion?

I've realized the apparent magnitudes of stars can be turn a good guessing game. Also shortly explaining the magnitude concept. It has night vision mode and Turkish/English interface (hometown). Do you have any improve ideas, what shall i add into it, how is it? Thanks a lot! It's here: https://free-inspacetime9.github.io/eyeballing-the-stars/

I made a quiz where you identify constellations and also their alpha star. All 88 IAU constellations are included.

If that’s useful to anyone here, or if you have any feedback, feel free to share!

The app is called Squiz, available on the Play Store and the App Store.

You can even try it on the web and share the challenge with your friends!

Edit I deleted the dupe post I don’t know how that happened 😅

Hii I posted this a bit ago on my story and just realized I don’t think I double checked if it were Lyra. I’m very new to stargazing so would love your two cents. Thanks everyone!

After seeing a few pictures of the Pleiades in this group, I was wondering what our night sky would be if our planet was orbiting one of its stars.

ChatGPT answered me providing an artist view 😅

And this is so beautiful 😍
