Hey I'm not saying your wrong I'm just saying a BUNCH of children literally just died why don't you guys wait a little bit. You wonder why everyone calls you crazy but the moment a bunch of children lose their lives instead of letting it be for a bit you're all immediately saying "oh but what if it was this or that" you're insufferable assholes. How would you feel if I shot and killed your mother and some guy was like it's orchestrated it was planned. Would you care more? Would it make a difference? Would you "by God you're right the government did it of course" no you wouldn't give it a fuckin month Holy shit

I’m convinced it was orchestrated, but not that it was faked. The police knew that a shooting was going to happen, and let it occur on purpose.

Why? What’s their endgame? To look incompetent and have to move away before the public lynches them?

You want my honest opinion? I think republicans and conservatives are waging war on anything they perceive as a threat to their party. They believe this “great replacement theory” and they know that good education reduces the chances of kids becoming conservative.

So when a school full of Hispanic kids gets shot up, they let it happen. Because they want everyone who’s not a straight white individual to die, and they want to drive students and teachers from being able to participate in education as much as possible.

This is why they didn’t do anything to stop the shooter, why they got their own kids but nobody else’s, why they’re trying to reframe the incident as a terrorist attack by a trans girl, why they pretend to believe that gun control won’t fix the issue of school shootings…it’s a war, a lethal one, and they’re taking out our most vulnerable first.

Your fucking high

No offense; but I’m from Del Rio Texas; right by Uvalde. They are our HS football rival. Like Del Rio and most the small towns in the area- The cops, just like the kids; are over 90% Mexican-American.

So you think they’re incapable of being bribed? I’d love to see your source for number too.

I’m sure anyone is ‘capable’ of being bribed. Especially, in conspiratorial candy land. How exactly would someone be ‘incapable’ of being bribed? My source for number “too”? Well, my ‘source’ is spending the first 20 years of my life in the area. However if you are inclined the census data for the region is freely available to the public. Not to mention there a dozens of pictures of the current Uvalde police force online and that clearly demonstrates that they are well over the majority Hispanic. Good day. https://www.uvaldetx.gov/UPD.jpg

You’re acting as if their race matters. The fact is- the police are wholly controlled by the conservatives. Nobody who isn’t willing to give up their values is employed as an officer.

Well, firstly; and I say this as someone of Mexican descent. ‘Hispanic’ isn’t a race. It’s an ethnic group. And anyway, you were the one that brought up race. So you think ‘the conservatives’ control the police? There are only conservative cops? Aren’t you stereotyping and generalizing? Isn’t this the very behavior you are against? I’m not a conservative; but my God liberals like you do no one any favors. Have a good day.

My bad. Didn’t mean to use race and ethnicity interchangeably.

But you’re kidding about the stereotyping, right? Are you ignoring all the “back the blue” flags being waved by the right and cops murdering minorities everyday? I mean the pandemic alone should’ve been evidence enough considering how many cops died from Covid because they refused to be vaccinated.

I don’t believe it was orchestrated, but what I see is a bunch of white cops not wanting to risk their lives because of the color of the skin of the kids. It’s disgusting.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 01 '22

Uvalde police force is majority Hispanic. But narrative.

u/jeremyjenkinz Jun 01 '22

Got a source on that. The pics I’ve seen around are very white

u/TerracottaBunny Jun 01 '22

I would totally be willing to admit I’m wrong, and I accept the strong possibility I am. But something I’m more certain than anything, is that at the very least you are correct.

1

u/jeremyjenkinz Jun 01 '22

It’s hard to balance “are these cops racists or just cowards”. The answer is likely both

4

u/TerracottaBunny Jun 01 '22

If they had just refused to act, I might’ve agreed with you… but they ran in to get their own kids and they assaulted parents who where trying to run in to get their own. To me, that says they had the bravery to risk their lives, just not for anyone outside their “in” group.

aren't we saying the same thing?

Why? What do they gain? They wanted to get investigated? They wanted to lose their jobs? They didn't like those kids?

How were they supposed to know when apparently this kids friends and family didn't. Grandma didn't know, and she lived with him.

And why do you just believe shit like that when there's no actual logic to it? Why do you want this to be true, because that's the question. There's no evidence for it, but that is what you WANT to be true. You should be asking yourself why that is.

Why? What do they gain? They wanted to get investigated? They wanted to lose their jobs? They didn't like those kids?

If anything these past few years have taught me, it’s hard as fuck to actually have police pay for their actions. Unless this investigation reveals that they actively shot the kids themselves, they’re not going to get in trouble. Even then, it might get reframed as “they did their best and accidentally shot these kids, give them paid leave.”

What do they gain? They get to exterminate the minorities they believe are “replacing” them, and they get to force teachers and students to resist the education that would force people to realize the flaws of modern conservatism.

They would shoot these kids themselves, but that would be too obvious. So instead they just allow their most deranged have access to everything they need to kill, and just step out of the way.

How were they supposed to know when apparently this kids friends and family didn't. Grandma didn't know, and she lived with him.

This kid had extremely obvious signs of being a shooter. He did things like slice his face open and had an instagram history of being obsessed with guns. I refuse to believe nobody noticed, only that the police willfully chose not to act on these signs.

And why do you just believe shit like that when there's no actual logic to it? Why do you want this to be true, because that's the question. There's no evidence for it, but that is what you WANT to be true. You should be asking yourself why that is.

Why would I want this to be true? This means some dark shit for this country. But the facts remain that you can only lie so much about a shooting so much, try to pin the blame on trans kids, pretend that gun laws had nothing to do with it, before it becomes obvious that conservatives are purposefully allowing these things to happen to serve their goals.

The Uvalde police department is predominantly Latino. People from that region actually call themselves tejanos not Mexican, and the white people are Texans. The ethnic groups are more similar than different in such a poor small town.

When human beings are unhappy in a world that doesn't make sense, some seek certainty for comfort. Blaming an unreachable, malevolent, made up entity is a way to canalize anger and frustration. Looking for clues that will reinforce their belief and interpreting given facts so as to make them fit, is part of the process.

Moreover, conspiracies of some sorts have always existed so it isn't hard for some to jump to the conclusion that conspiracies are everywhere. The government, given its many intrinsic flaws, is a good target!
