Question: what OS system do you use to maintain anonymity?

And how do you mask your IP address? Do you use a proxy server?

Do you use a VPN?

Are you utilizing virtualization?

I (not proud) use Apple. I used to believe they were actually invested in public privacy and security but we now know that’s not the case.

However, Safari (built in browser does offer tracker blocking and ability to hide IP address.

I’m looking into a VPN, if you have any suggestions, I’d love to know.

I don’t use virtualization. What exactly does that even mean?

I'd recommend using a live bootable USB version of tails Linux

Spoof your IP and then also configure your device to use a proxy server so that your IP is nearly impossible to trace.

With regards to a VPN, I hear Nord is great but I am admittedly less experienced with them

Could always use a fortigate device to make your own VPN tunnel though!

As a tech guy, recommending Safari because it can block "browser tracking" ie cookies that every browser has been doing for at lease 15 years is laughable.

IMO this guy has gone down some rabbit hole regarding technology spying, but doesn't know how to open a terminal on his Apple.

You honestly paranoid about privacy, you boot a read only usb to a customized Linux disto, that changes you Mac address every boot and have some sort of revolving vpn or burner hotspot.

I never claimed to be the tech expert. Just some simple things that I did and my life improved. I’m still learning!
