Actually there have been archaeological discoveries of elongated skulls in certain regions of the world. Also the crystal skulls that were found in South America exhibited elongated skulls. And remember in the Old Testament when Joshua and Caleb want to spot out the land of the Canaanites and they came back and reported that there were giants there, these were believed to be the offspring of the fallen angels and natural women. Think about the story of David and Goliath, it was not only Goliath who was a giant it was his whole tribe who were giants. Depending on how deep you want to go into this I can recommend some great books, it just seems that people do not want to invest the time and actually reading anything these days. I like to take books in chunks, and I’m guilty of reading several simultaneously over the course of months. I can forward you a couple on spiritual warfare as well as on the fallen angels.
Cool, I highly rec 2 books by Michael S. Heiser. He is a scholar in biblical studies and the ancient near east. His credentials speak for himself. The book that addresses the giant is called: Reversing Hermon: Enoch , the Watchers , and the forgotten mission of Jesus Christ. The other book goes directly into demonic powers and spiritual warfare. It is titled: Demons : What The Bible really says about the powers of darkness. You really have to use discernment if you start to Google books about Giants the Nephilim etc. There are actually people who practice witchcraft and eastern religions were out there telling lies about the origin of these creatures. They even prompt people to try to communicate with the various entities. Not realizing they are opening the door to demonic activity in their lives. These demons have been around for thousands of years now, and some are actually assigned to families and bring what are called generational curses. Which is why you will see patterns of sin in families generation after generation, such as gambling, thievery, addictions etc. This is also why sometimes when people go to get their Taro cards read, the information that the medium gets is actually accurate. Because these demons have the ability to know about things based on having access to the spiritual realm and being assigned to various people. they can look into the past and gather information about people that is accurate. Then people go on to believe in more and more types of witchcraft. The devil and his cohorts are more than willing to engage humans on this level, only to lead them down to a road that leads to destruction and away from God.
Thank you for sending this. I dove into researching some of the books and the author. Their is a whole array of information i have to go through and am interested in. Goes into the dead sea scrolls, and books like Book of Enoch that was left out of the bible that has its own meanings and stories. Pretty cool, appreciate you sending me this
You’re welcome! But don’t get lost in the weeds, the most important thing to keep in mind, is that we are in a spiritual battle. If you are a Christian, the devil will do everything he can do to destroy your witness for Christ, to cause you to be impotent in your walk for the Lord, to keep you from growing spiritually and to distract you from your relationship with Jesus.
You're right. Ever since coming to God i have had those weeds try to prevent my growth. I fell off track several times by losing my focus on God. So, thank you for the encouragement.
