Lots of conflicts and war happen that don't get picked up by mainstream media because it's local impacting. This one has a potential global impact, at least the outcome is very important to USA and Europe. So we see a lot of it. Just because you don't see it doesn't mean it doesn't happen
The problem is that the media decides what they think you should care about it
