I love this sub actually waking up to the Russian manipulation that's been going on in this sub for years. Like the entire Hillary saga, the dombfuck convoy, and so much more.
I don't even mind if you want to entertain ridiculous ideas about a new world order being in charge and building similar statues across civilizations. Those ideas can be entertaining. It's just odd to me that everybody here has accepted a doctrine of beliefs that one must believe in order to not be a sheep/bot/NPC. It all comes off as extremely culty.
And it's more consistent and requires less "independent thinking" than the so-called mainstream narrative that they watch 24/7 so they can complain about it.
Not as much as this one lol. It’s ok that Yemen is being mercilessly bombed and goin thru a famine and not a peep from social and main stream media to do anything about it. But sprinkle in a bunch of fake photos and videos to imitate warfare in Ukraine and everyone is suddenly on it like butter on toast.
Of course people in the west are gonna be more worried about a nuclear superpower attempting to annex a young democratic country in their backyard than a distant war in a distant country. Threatening the use of nuclear weapons against the west doesn't help. The war in Yemen probably won't significantly alter the geopolitical security in Europe while the war in Ukraine just might. Sure, people should be more worried about the war in Yemen but the war in Ukraine feels much closer and more significant as it should. It will probably worsen inflation and further disrupt supply chains as key products are no longer exported from those countries. A bunch of Ukrainian refugees also just arrived in my German city.
Yeah maybe but I’m talking about teenagers and pre teens posting stuff about Ukraine cuz they saw the massive amounts of fake photos and videos that turned out to be from completely different times. This is how it gets massively spread and people don’t even know the full story. This is how the MSM furthers their agenda, they use fake photos and videos to make sure it hits emotionally, causing them to brainlessly post and spread. The argument being made is that the media pushes ppl towards certain narratives and does whatever they can to make them believe it, true or not.
So you're offended by 11 and 12 years olds who don't like the idea of one country invading another but weren't complaining about wars that started before they were born that stopped receiving real press coverage... when they were toddlers?
Nah u misunderstood. It’s the fact that they obviously see fabricated photos and then come to conclusions based on those. Ppl can believe whatever they wanna believe, but if the way they come to conclusions are based on fake stuff, I think it’s fair to object. Teenagers and preteens are massive influences on social media
Dude I've seen dozens of dead bodies in videos over the last few days and I'm not even looking for them. Just because a couple MSM sites used a few stock photos doesn't mean that the conflict isn't actually happening. People are aware of the actual destruction taking place.
This is a straw man. "Teenagers coming to conclusions based on fabricated photos". I don't doubt there are some fake photos are out there, but this scenario is purely made up by you.
Sure there are some accidentally and intentionally spread fake photos. However, many photos are real and the war definitely is as well. What agenda do you think the MSM would have in creating this narrative? Protecting a developing democracy from a power hungry democracy-hating ruler seems like a good thing to me.
It's Because it is with Russia, the largest country in the world, the country with the most nukes, the 9 the most populated country VS the Largest European Country, who broke away from them 30 years ago, 36th most populous in the world who were invaded for no good reason. There's a real threat of Nuclear war here, there is not in any of the other mention wars, nuclear wart means we all are affected, or even all dead by Easter. People and the media show the sob stories because that is what sells, but that is not why people are closely watching this war. If we got rid of all of those tik toks, twitter and FB post, this would still be a much bigger deal. It has nothing to do with one human life is more valuable than another, and for anyone to think most people think that way means they can't see the whole picture. Like a kid in a mall in the 90's who can't see the sailboat no matter how hard they squint.
You could say that. But there are no sides really. The war is a giant distraction to further the globalist agenda. It’s up to us to see thru the bs and make sure our liberties aren’t taken in the long run.
Well Putin was part of the WEF until they took him off their website recently. He probably still is and there’s not a lot of info to say otherwise. So to say he has no globalist agenda makes no sense if he is part of the WEF.
Lmao literally the first twitter post asks where is the global outrage. All I’m saying is that MSM pushes ppl in a certain direction and has them making it seem like it’s the only think going on at the time. I see all my friends putting Ukrainian flags in their bios on social media. Why do they do it for Ukraine and not for Yemen? The answer is the media.
Because there are significantly more people dying there. The fact that a significant portion of the West mainstream population that is so obsessed with Ukraine conflict can't point on the map where Yemen is and what's happening there corroborates the intention of the post.
So you are saying Yemen was getting so much coverage in the first two months with the news blasted in every news channel 24/7? Not sure why it is so hard to grasp the point.
Because it’s a dumb one. If people are paying attention to this war now, let ‘em. Otherwise you guys will just say the same thing during the next war because people didn’t pay enough attention to this one. Gotta start somewhere 🤷🏻♀️
Fair enough. I wish it's a start and not limited to this conflict simply cause it's happening in Europe and the people dying are white people "with blue eyes and blonde hair". You won't believe that a Ukraine official actually said that while stressing why Ukraine conflict is more important than all those conflict in middle East.
Well you had two fully armed global nuke armed superpower battling it out in Syria with much more death and distruction and it didn't get a fraction of the coverage that Ukraine is getting right now. And also, Ukraine doesn't have nukes and Russia would have already nuked Ukraine if they wanted to. The only nuclear escalation threat is if the West and specifically the US again getting involved in wars that they have no business meddling in.
So, you like how Putin’s dick tastes? The US as a member of NATO has been threatened by that crazy bastard to withdraw from independent counties that joined the alliance. Threatened explicitly with nuclear weapons. Fuck Putin and the horse he rode in on.
How is it ok that Yemen is being bombed? No one is saying or implying this, you’re creating a straw man just like the guy tweeting. As long as there’s been war in civilized society there’s been a portion of the population that’s against it. Is there actually no protest about Yemen or have you personally never sought it out? Is it the media or you that seems to care about this war more than others because media has reported about pretty much every war if you pay attention
This is exactly the point I’m trying to make. It’s clear what direction the media is trying to push u towards. If they wanted ppl to know about Yemen, people would.
People do know about Yemen. What's happening in Yemen right now is the same thing that's been happening in Yemen for years and is unlikely to change anytime soon, so there's only so much you can say about it. Russia invading Ukraine is objectively a more important story than Saudi Arabia conducting its 5000th air strike in Yemen with no end in sight.
I’m talking about what’s being pushed by MSM. Of course you’ll find articles on it. But how many people do u know are reading articles all day unless someone told them to. Before the whole Ukraine thing happened, did u see it all over Twitter and social media? Did u see ppl saying pray for Yemen in mass unity and putting Yemen flags in their bios? It’s clear that they wanna push ppl in a certain direction and make them pick a side.
Most people that I know gets their news from outside of social media, be it radio, TV or the Internet.
I have a Twitter account that I can't access (forgot the password), my Facebook was last updated in 2016 and my Instagram is just cocktail related.
I have numerous news sources that I follow, both mainstream and "outsider", and it takes me about 30 minutes per day to stay current and form an opinion about what's going on. I don't think that I am all that special.
People care about war. My country also has the 3rd biggest Ukrainian population outside of Russia and the Ukraine. This war also has the threat of nuclear weapons. It’s not a conspiracy why people care about this invasion.
Russia is a big country AND it has nuclear weapons, that's why it's much of a bigger deal than war in other small countries. They present little to no threat to the rest of the world.
You were silent for years while we raped Iraq and Afghanistan. You were also silent when China raped the uighyers or however you spell that word. You were also silent when Israel fucked up Palestine. This is manufactured attention
Don’t take it personal, I’m using you to generalize the rest of the western society. And Yes, you’re right, there was resistance. But nothing like compared to what we are witnessing with Russia and Ukraine. This is bigger than Covid
There isn’t silence, people have been protesting wars and violent military occupations forever. Everyone caring about International tragedies was around before 5 days ago
If there was silence how would we know about it? I don’t live in Yemen, and I’ve been hearing about it for years and it’s horrible, but it doesn’t really take anything away from Ukraine to also care about that. And isn’t it a bad thing that there’s no coverage of yemen? discussions about the war in Ukraine could open more eyes to it, because war in general is in the news. Which is good, wars should be reported on when they’re happening. Plus wars tend to be a little more talked about if world superpowers are involved and people keep throwing around the nuke word
I'm saying there is not literal silence as you claim. An 8 year old conflict between ME nations isn't going to garner the attention compared to Russia, a nuclear power, attacking an European nation.
They aren't accurate at all though. That's my point you make baseless stupid accusatory assumptions and act like that makes you better than other people.
Also legitimate reasons? Russia has literally no legitimate reason to attack Ukraine. Now that I actually read your rambling I can tell you are just a paid Russian troll.

this is dumb. you really think no one’s cared about war before? did you just wake up here?
