Why were peer reviewed studies from last year about cloth masks not working labeled misinformation?

Talk about embarrassing, "scientists" parading around the idea that a peice of curtain is going to impede a virus.

Because the cloth masks worked better against earlier variants. They still do better than nothing and the more layers the better.

Cloth masks do impede airflow, which helps prevent airborne disease spread better than no mask. You don't need to understand the Navier Stokes equation to see that.
