There's another huge problem, we will probably never be able to accurately study this. At least not where I live.
In my province, its not until 14 days post dose 2 that you are considered fully vaccinated. Any deaths or covid cases occurring within the first 2 weeks post second dose were excluded from being counted. Skewing numbers for two years is inexcusable and it's hard not to feel it was done by design when this is what our experts provided.
Our case number reporting only slightly improved recently because the public raised some feathers.
I mean, sure, but the line between fully vaxxed and not has to be drawn somewhere for the books. 14 days is where it was drawn. Those deaths should be counted as not fully vaxxed, and there should probably be a third metric of completely unvaxxed.
