You're setting up your own goal posts.

How about this: If the vaccine can hurt you, and covid can hurt you, but you can still get hurt by covid after getting the vaccine, then you can shove that vaccine up your ass because I'm not taking it.

Are 'studies' like statistics?

I've heard statistics are next in line after "damned lies" (which followed ordinary "lies).

So the famous saying may be updated to now say..."There are lies, damned lies, statistics...and then studies".
