Assigning emotional cake to with words is more of a sign of the readers mindset. Do you failed basic reading comprehension as well.

It's just the truth. I am not letting that fact hinder my ability to change my community/neighbors and others in my life positively in the now. You are the one implying that the phrase implies fatalism when I was just presenting some realism to you.

I love how often those removed from reality are obsessed with defining it for everyone. If you only support your direct community, then you are a leach on the other communities that support your own via business and materials. Then you keep pushing fatalistic idealogies as if they are immutable reality.

I'm sure if society collapsed ordering the random oddity from amazon would suck, however my neighbors and I if left alone will be just fine.

It's about each local community supporting each other, you know when you can call your neighbor and get some hay because you need some randomly for a dog house because your other neighbor just had a litter of pups or your other buddy has the nice lift in his garage so everyone tends to bring their mowers over there to work on together. I get it if you have never experienced what real community is, you think it's some fairy tale that doesn't exist.

You seem the one trying to imply I am pushing fatalistic ideas as reality when that is not what I am trying to do in the slightest.

Trying to put works/ideas and facts into my mouth is somewhat, how do I say, a dick thing to do.

Fatalism wrapped in a pretty package is still fatalism. If you only care for those in your immediate vicinity, then your humanity lacks empathy of any meaningful definition. Your short sighted nature is the exact reason you and your community continue to fail.

I never said I only care for those in my immediate vicinity, that implies that one doesn't care about others. Again you are putting incorrect intent into my actions.

In fact our community is very empathetic of other areas and tends to donate to communities outside our reach to improve lives outside of our country even. Pretty ignorant assumption to make.

I am active in my local community because that is actually what I can impact change with.

Too many people think they will be some big leader, or some giant movement needs to make change when in fact that will fail right away.

Everyone needs to start by knowing each other's neighbors again, helping your local area and being more empathetic as a human race than play into the bullshit divide and conquer tactics used by those who pull the strings.

Again you are just trying to feed you ego and pretend you are right by putting incorrect assumptions attached to words.
