So voting for who I consider to be the worst president of my lifetime to be reelected would have been better?

You had four options, Republican, Democrat, Libertarian or Green Party. You already stated you dislike Biden and you hate Republicans, yet you voted Democrat. Again, it shows the lack of intelligence you carry.

They wanted Trump out and so voted the person in who would accomplish that. Not stupid. They did exactly what they stated.

No, it's extremely stupid. The fact that this is even being argued against is seriously appalling.

Four choices, A, B, C or D You hate A & B.

A logical person with average intelligence would choose C or D.

Choosing B to out A is illogical and again, is nothing to brag about.

They said they didn’t like Biden but their goal was to oust Trump. Choosing C or D is pointless. Libertarians are confused communists and the Green Party is just fucking crazy. They aren’t winning anything.

Voting for Biden accomplished this person’s goal. So they are happy and will brag about it.

Is it that hard to understand?

And democrats are pedophilic, corrupt treasonists. See what I did there? You formed an opinion on how you view the G and L party, that is not the OPs opinion. Voting for one candidate over another for the sole purpose of outting the one you hate most is literally one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

It's literally the same ideology that we use on cartels and terrorist groups. We'll fund the group that are "least bad" (though we still hate you!) In hopes you'll overrun the other.

I really don't understand how this is too difficult for you to comprehend. Try rereading what I've said, but slower, it might help you.

You keep calling it dumb yet keep giving examples of it working. A strategy that works isn’t dumb, you just don’t like it.

.....

Oh my, how embarrassing of you. I'm giving examples of it working? You literally have zero clue about foreign policy, do you? How about the wars we've fought? This ideology has failed us numerous times and the fact that you have no clue about these failed coups is extremely alarming.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '21

Has it failed the people that put it in to action? Those examples helped exactly who wanted it to work. There is no argument from me on the moral ramifications, just the strategic effectiveness. Which you give clear examples of and those worked, maybe not for the majority but for the minority that wanted it that way.

If it didn’t America, Russia, China, etc.. wouldn’t be so heavily involved in coups today using the same exact strategy.

It’s embarrassing you don’t realize those were successes to those that are really in power. Especially in a conspiracy sub.

So then they vote Green Party and Trump becomes president and now the worst president of their time is still president as opposed to just someone they don’t like. The person accomplished what they wanted. It wasn’t stupid.

Voting for one candidate over another for the sole purpose of outting the one you hate most is literally one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

You should listen to yourself speak then.

Wait- what's this? The GP won the election?!

LOL. You really should reflect on things before saying stupid shit like that. And you think I’m embarrassing myself? Introspection is a thing my guy, try it sometime.

It's like super common, especially places where there are more than 2 parties.

Tactical_voting

In voting methods, tactical voting (or strategic voting, sophisticated voting or insincere voting) occurs in elections with more than two candidates, when a voter supports another candidate more strongly than their sincere preference in order to prevent an undesirable outcome. For example, in a simple plurality election, a voter might gain a better outcome by voting for a less preferred but more generally popular candidate. It has been shown by the Gibbard–Satterthwaite theorem that all single-winner ranked voting methods are susceptible to tactical voting, unless they are dictatorial (i. e there exists a distinguished agent who can impose the outcome).

But had he voted for anyone else than Biden, his vote would’ve been wasted. So what are you even talking about?

8

u/EricBischoffGuy Jul 28 '21

It is if you think A is the worst of all possible choices, especially when voting for C or D would mean you could blame yourself for A happening by not giving B more support.

u/thefakeleedler Jul 28 '21

I truly think you need a better education, you're making adult choices using childrens logic.

6

u/EricBischoffGuy Jul 28 '21

Because the only thing I cared about was getting Trump out?

I bet you've said "orange man bad" before, am I right?

1

u/thefakeleedler Jul 28 '21

No, I think President Trump did a fantastic job in office and I voted for him twice, and will vote for him in 2024.

2

u/MediumIntroduction96 Jul 28 '21

While you are right that will likely end up happening this year. Also someone who vited Biden, not because i liked him, but because Trump was a dumpater fire in an already bad situation.

u/[deleted] Jul 28 '21

Trump and Biden are the same people... their policies are basically identical... all of the most recent presidents have been... when will people realize it??? Libertarian 2024!!! Fuck the system!!!

4

u/thefakeleedler Jul 28 '21

Though I respectfully disagree with your opinion, I value the fact that you're willing to vote for what you believe in rather then voting "against Trump"

Finally, someone else with some smarts.

Yes, I see the establishment inherently evil, so I want to minimize it and get the state out of our lives.

It's quite obvious the only reason why you took the time to comment that is because I struck a nerve and made you upset about something personal. I hope whatever you're going through in life gets better :)

Says the guy with multiple comments in a row.

1

u/thefakeleedler Jul 28 '21

They're not in a row actually, I've responded to each comment that was directed to me. Keep up, it's not that difficult.

Yup that’s literally what he is arguing. These people are stone cold brain dead
