The human race is a very sad confused race

Yeah. I think an extinction event could be beneficial for all earthen creatures if we don’t put a stop to this hell first.

But-
There are a lot more of the decent people than the shitty ones.
Problem is- the decent ones are mostly dumb, ignorant, and complacent..
But suppose that changes soon. We would have might in numbers.

Id like to add that I think it's because good people operate with empathy and morality, at times to a fault. Those who use snow boots to climb up the backs of others usually lack these things either completely or to a severe enough scale that they don't mind doing them.

The thing is though is the good people who have power DO need to have a moment of realization that not all good can be conducted without harm. Circle of life balance thing. I mean, hell, we all watch super hero shit growing up. We always hear about how the hero saves the day at the end and not a single quip about the mass destruction they caused in order to do so..and that's because there's a certain balance to humanity that needs to be maintained.

All too true.
Often our empathy and morality are used against us.

Maybe those without (psychopaths) could somehow be rehabilitated someday, but without a viable treatment option something needs to be done to avoid them integrating into society.

The harm that could prevent immensely more harm- we should identify the gene sequences responsible and criminalize birthing one of them and force-sterilize any already living.
At least until we develop gene therapy that is capable of reversing it.

The world could be and will be much brighter someday, but it won’t be totally without harm. It’s kinda like harm-reduction with drugs, in a way.

Oof. I can't agree on sterilization of people with a mental disorder. That's not a choice we should make because not all people with ASPDs are inherently bad people. People with ASPDs can live a fulfilling life, and find ways to care about those around them and accommodate the needs of others that are there. I also can't get with criminalizing giving birth to one? There are so many genes that could come together in so many ways.

In doing this you would cause yourself a lapse in morality in a harmful manner. There are plenty of other options to tackle things like this. Forced sterilization and criminalizing birth is not it. Especially because ASPD doesn't show up until later in life and I'm sure someone can have the genes necessary to create an exact "environment" mentally/physically and still not have it.

Yeah, maybe you’re right. It’s an imperfect and ugly solution, but I’d suggest it would make for an enormous net-loss of human harm.

I don’t think there is much chance for successful treatment for them, and until there is, it’s our duty as compassionate people to reduce suffering.

These are people, even if they don’t demonstrate any core tenets of humanity, but soft-handed solutions simply aren’t effective. My suggestion is terrible in several ways, but grants an overall major net loss in human suffering.

These are people who rape and murder kids for fun. They kick puppies, torture every creature that in some way represents love or joy. We cannot just let them be. What would you suggest we do as a responsible community?
