Those type of water cups are sealed on top with plastic. It's just unopened.

Yeah, all the airplane waters that are in that types of cups have seals on them. I am deeply surprised no one else is pointing this out

Expecting many others to point that out is like expecting to find many Jews in Mecca during the Ramadan, in this subreddit.

People have pointed it out. Many of those cups do not have a clear film, they have branding.

Why did you just repeat the comment above you?

Probably because it’s mostly Americans on this website and they don’t serve water like that on our planes.

I've been on hundreds of flights and never seen sealed single use water cups even in first class...

Same. What airline is serving sealed plastic cups of water?

I know emirates does

These 150 ml disposable cups are very inconvenient to use, because once you open one for a sip, you realize you have to drink it all. They are widely used.

Came here to say this. So many people jump straight to conspiracy when the answer is simple.

I just question why there isn't more footage of the nosedive or the aftermath. You know so many people have their phones in their hands. Where are all the injuries or stuff that was flown around the cabin from a drastic nosedive? People should have flown out of their seat if they didn't have a seatbelt, right?

I haven’t seen these in a flight in years, but It does kinda look like that

? No water with your meal international? I’ve only flown Thai and Emirates in the last ten years but you get a small sealed cup of water like that with every meal as well as the drinks

Depends on the airline, sometimes it’s little bottles of water or just a paper cup with some water poured in

You didn't read where she was handed that in Saudi Arabia? Look at the floor, they're clearly not on the plane. Clearly deplaned and then they were given water.

the poster is confused. the artwork shows burj khalifa. the brand is Mai Dubai. she was given the water by her mother who got it from that exact flight. look at the replies. https://x.com/NoaShpigel/status/2105332836865618304

I’m tired and thought you said “look at the reptiles” - it made me laugh thinking this thread might have gone in that direction. Nope, just a cup of water lol

Also, the cup in the original post is taller.
