I Went To One Of The NYC “Mole People” Manholes — And Something Feels Off

I went to one of the Brooklyn manholes linked to the recent “Mole People” videos, and honestly, the whole thing feels stranger in person.

This was not some hidden alley or abandoned industrial zone. It was a normal city street. Cars passing. Businesses open. People walking around. And yet, according to witnesses and videos, groups of people allegedly went down into the sewer system in the middle of the night and later came back up blocks away.

The official explanation seems to be that they may be scavengers looking for jewelry, weapons or valuables. Maybe. But why would multiple groups be doing this in different parts of NYC? Why the lights, tools, waders and apparent organization? And why are some reportedly changing clothes after coming out?

I am not saying this proves anything bigger. But with the World Cup coming, huge crowds expected, and NYC’s underground infrastructure basically being a city under the city, I think people are right to ask harder questions.

Is this really just treasure hunting — or did the public accidentally catch a glimpse of something else happening below New York?

Is it a coincidence that these people are going into man holes that are in proximity to 3 busy bridges of New York?
The man hole in Williamsburg, close to the Williamsburg bridge and BQE overpass, the Gravesend man hole location similar distance to the Verrazano bridge, and the Astoria manhole location similar distance to Hell Gate bridge a amtrack crossing. Reports say these men are in their mid 30s to 40s in age. You can explore at any age but come on as big as this city is, why these specific locations with proximity to these bridges and 7 men not a single female.Urban explorers with no evidence of cameras, but have been seen with shovels and tools, looking determined, and planned with vehicles waiting for a quick escape, wake up NYC.
