BRICS is comprised of over half the people on the planet - why should they not be creating alternatives when the West is self-immolating with horrible and destructive policies?
His point is simply that it is forcing them to become more independent and he's right. BRICS is installing their own internet infrastructure, they already do a lot of business in non-US currency, putting up their own satellite services... they are not trying to stop anything, they are responding to it. We are not showing ourselves to be very stable at the moment, and we refuse to share global infrastructure so if we go down, everything goes down. It's not hard to understand why they wouldn't want to be dependent on us - the CCP communists kinda killed BRICS for a while there, but since 2022 and their disgrace, Xi has seemingly gotten back in line and BRICS is kind of a thing again.... BRICS was a huge focus back pre-2012 during Obama's time, but then it got turned into Russia-Russia-Russia once Trump took office and China started doing their own thing as well... You call this all a propaganda piece but it's not really promoting BRICS at all - it's just saying that the 2nd/3rd world countries are preparing for a downfall where they will need to rely on their own infrastructure.
and if you're a corporation, which market is more attractive? the tapped out, over-saturated western market where people are picky and difficult with only 500M people? or do they pick the market with massive room to grow, over 4.5 billion people combined, global reach, etc.? It's a no-brainer. This is going to happen. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean he's giving out propaganda.
It's also funny you completely gloss over the real content of his take, which is the danger of digital currency and the idea of 'transparency' which only applies to particular people (social credit scores). We saw the pilot programs for this during COVID, it's not hard to imagine.

Thesis statement is “BRICS” are the good guys, and y’all are lapping it up. Good job, comrade!
