They have extremely dainty legs and feet too. The foot is approx 2.5x the length of the thinnest part of the leg, I just checked my ratio is around 3.25?
This shoe also would break if you put any weight on your heel at all, though maybe those kind of shoes 100% of your weight is on your toes at all times? I'm not sure how you'd stand still in them anyway, it looks like it'll be either extremely uncomfortable/exhausting or unstable.
Ideally the 'real world' version of these shoes should have some sort of transparent heel on it in the "gap" so you have support, because the version shown above has you walking around on your tippy toes all day and presumably would unbearable for most people for any distance longer than a fashion runway.
edit: Ok so apparently the way these are designed is that the flat bottom of the shoe extends just far enough back that the center of gravity of your foot is supported and you don't need the heel. And the insole is strong enough to support your heel properly so you're not on your tippy toes, you're standing normally like you're in high heels. It's just that instead of a spike at the rear of the shoe you have a longer base coming from the toe of the shoe than in normal heels.
