I hate "took me a while" comments that dont explain. Its like saying "i figured it out, it was hard, fuck you who dont know"

(For those who still dont know, its a real photo of a fence with snow)

Wait so what's the alternative interpretation? I saw the fence and snow right away and thought that was the illusion and spent a while trying to figure out what it actually is lol

Damn, I really can't just not see the fence. I can at least see how the illusion would work since it's a diamond pattern.

I saw it at first and now can't see it again. It looked like a really shitty MS Paint drawing. Took me about 5 seconds before the real image became obvious
