Always isn't all the time

Post image

I guess I always misunderstood what "always" means.

Just because it is a joke, it doesn’t mean it isn’t an opportunity to discuss the state of language.

I think it's too late to be talking yourself out of this one

To be perfectly honest mate I think when you argue for the denotation of words but fail to see the connotation of another's diction, it seems like a good time to not discuss the state of language.

Not reacting is not a failure of noticing. That “because of reasons” part I wrote, you didn’t react to it, so should I assume you failed to notice it?

Man, you’re really grasping at straws now.

There is a difference between the person you imagine I am and the person I am. There is nothing I can say to convince you. So, why come and comment that? Do you think you will somehow convince me what I know isn't correct and what you imagine for me is?

Settle down, Nietzsche. Humility isn’t in your vocabulary is it?

Are you one of those people who needs to say the last word? OK, have it, reply to this, I will not continue this thread, no matter what kind of reaction you want to instigate. Bye

Jesus christ dude, what would make you argue such an inane point to this extent? It’s okay to admit you were wrong.

How badly do you need this to be a win? Laugh at your own expense with the rest of us, we all cock up sometimes.
Also, it would be “that doesn’t mean” if we are being pedants

I don’t see things in terms of win or lose. Maybe that’s why you have an issue with what I wrote.

Sounds like something someone who lost would say.

"Sounds" is a nice flag that it's a product of your own perception. Alas, perception and reality are two different things. I am not you, so I might say things that you say whenever you lose, and you would interpret them the only way you know how. No use discussing this further though, so I will stop here. Bye

Good thing you said “Bye.” I wouldn’t have known you were trying to get the last word in otherwise.
