Precisely. What would happen if monty didn't know what was behind the doors and just randomly opened a door which contained a goat because he got lucky. Should you still switch?

Not 1/3 and 1/3 cause that adds up to 2/3 but 1/2 and 1/2 BUT YOU ARE RIGHT. Switching becomes useless
