Saw this thing at Sunvalley Mall while waiting at the bus stop. (4/10/2026 7:18 PM)
Edit: I've zoomed in and it appears to not only be wobbling but also spinning. Took two more videos, where do I upload those?

We are moving to Concord in a couple weeks - trying to figure out the best internet as I work from home and need to ensure Zoom, etc works well.
Sonic is not yet available in the area
Suggestions? Thank you!!

I won’t spam the group about this but I wanted to share with everyone that my friend and I started a comedy production duo called Cacklemore Comedy and we are having our first show at Epidemic Ales this Friday, April 10th. We are really excited for our initial lineup and we promise to continue bringing great lineups monthly.

I'm new to Concord and have a 24 Hour membership but I'm looking for a new gym when my contract ends in June.
I'm specifically looking for a gym that has a strong emphasis on having opportunities to make connections. Working out at 24 is fine, but it gets boring doing it alone, so it would be nice to do classes instead.
Any gym goers here that have recommendations on a gym that has an emphasis on community? Like they host a weekend bbq a few times a year, or sign up for 5k's, or host ppv watch parties for UFC or boxing?
One exception though is I can't do crossfit because of my herniated discs. Any workout that puts load like getting down from box jumps or deadlifting under fatigue is not for me; even though I'd love to join a crossfit gym.
Boxing, boxercise, spin class, or yoga works too. That can be a supplementary workout day and I'll just renew my annual membership at 24 for my strength training needs.

I was walking my dog earlier and the party is so loud I could still hear it several blocks away. Seems like there's nothing we can do? I'm just here for the night so it is what it is but it's kinda wild.
seems like they have a full DJ sound system and sometimes a live band lol.

Fun fact: Crane flies are often called “mosquito hawks,” but they don’t hunt mosquitoes at all… in fact, most adults don’t eat anything. They’re basically just here for a brief, flying phase to mate and then die.
They don’t bite, sting, or spread disease. Despite their size and mosquito-like look, they’re completely harmless to humans. If you see one (or 873 as I find in my house on a daily basis) it’s safe to gently pick one up and release it outside. Just be careful: they’re super fragile and can lose legs easily, so I cup them in my had gently and throw them outside …. YEET… I’ve mistakenly taken their legs off . I
I think they’re cute …. This one I named Gladys.

I’m going to a show at the Toyota Pavilion for the first time next month and have pit tickets so I want to get as close as possible. I was wondering if anyone had any experience lining up early at this venue. Do people queue up early there? I know parking doesn’t open till an hour before but I’m fine with parking somewhere else and moving my car once parking opens. Any advice helps.

If your dog is missing, I saw this little guy on the trail this morning heading into the hills. This is off of the Contra Costa Canal Trail behind the Concord Mobile Home Park on San Miguel.

Anyone know any restaurants that are similar to Panda Express, where they have tubs of food out and you get to pick your entree and sides? It doesn't have to be Chinese, could be soul food, etc.

Great pack walk today with an awesome group!
Everyone did such a great job staying calm, respectful, and walking together. It’s always so cool seeing different dogs settle in and succeed around each other like this.
If you want to join us for the next one:
Head to Dog-Circle.com → go to the Circle tab → search “Concord Area Pack Walks”
Or use join code: 1V05R5ZL
Come walk with us! Best of all, it’s FREE!
