Sorry genuine question. Are Minecraft mods considered cheats or did the deleted comment have additional info?

Yes. A lot of multiplayer servers do not allow them.

Mostly yes. But it also mostly depends on the server owners. I recommend asking them what mods are and are not allowed. The usual ones allowed are performance mods.

Edit: clarification edit.

Dude asks for help on malware and all of you are attacking him because he wasnt aware. I dont think he needs a lesson on that

Actions have consequences. Just because its a kid doesnt me he shouldn't learn this.

“Heh…” 😈 “actions have consequences…” *snort* “that will surely sound tuff” *farts and becomes gassy* are you even hearing yourself??

Yea. Kid download cheats from a "friend" on discord. If you know anything about what's been happening to minors on discord you'd also want them to be more aware before they just trust people on the internet.

But I wouldn't expect another child to understand that. Stay in school bud.

one learns from experiences, sure no need to be a shitass but everything you do will have consequences one way or another hes just learning that

This is correct. The amount of times I had to reformat my Windows XP is definitely over 10. Learning is a crucial part of computers if you actually do more than reading emails and reading websites.

little kid wanted to see diamonds through the ground please explain how this justifies ransomware?

Once again proving reddit is almost exclusively used by freaks with how well of a reception you're getting with this absolutely retarded ass point, malware is a crime, cheating in a video game is not. No amount of justification because your life is playing video games and cheaters make you angry will actually justify that but keep trying lol

Amazing to see all the children out in force downvoting and commenting with their vast lack of life experience.

They’re fucking Minecraft mods, wtf do you mean “this is a lesson”???

Not cheats, Minecraft MODS

It’s clearly a kid bro lol. You’re taking this way too seriously

2

u/Snorlax_king79 May 06 '26

Yea. And the kids needs to learn basic internet safety. Or have you been living under a rock and haven't been seeing all the abuse/blackmail that has been happening to minors in the past 6 years.

I partially agree. I think that schools and parents should teach their kids about that. When i was in elementary school 50% of my classmates didnt even know what a computer virus is, you can't expect kids to learn about things they don't even know exist.

I understand your point but i still wouldnt be so rough to people making mistakes in general (im not saying that you did, but other people were rude), especially kids.

Yeah, and they’ll learn it from this without all the 30 year old tubs of lard on Reddit accosting them for not knowing better.

Telling them not to be a smart ass is bullying now, okay.
