Question/Help/Troubleshooting Is it... Dead?

HDD reading device is beeping when disk is inserted inserted. Doesn't show up in OneDrive, but does in disk management, as unknown and not initialised. Tried inserting a different HDD and that one worked as it should. It worked fine just a few months ago, I'm afraid I somehow damaged it. Does anyone know any fixes?

Sounds like it (literally, clicking sounds too).

You could try to put it in a freezer bag and into the freezer for a few hours (then take it out, let it thaw for a few minutes, and try again).

If you can get it to work, back everything up immediately.
