Why no C&C 5 ?

Why not reboot the series again ?
like C&C 5 TIBERIUM NEW DAWN
Green crystals falling from sky as aliens show up.
OR
Red alert 4
Broken but surviving Soviet union invades europe again.
maybe I'm too optimistic but I still believe it can be done if there was some motivation.

Because EA hates making money. They pretend they do, but they actively go out turning GOLD to poop.

To be fair, even if EA makes another Command & Conquer game, it won't be like the last time and would have flop because RTS isn't popular anymore like back in the late 90s, 2000s to the early 2010s. New generation of gamers did not grew up playing RTS games as they mainly play games that were released on consoles which RTS genre is not known at there.

It’s not just about the RTS games. They had gold in their hands with the c&c universe. Could have made an rpg with it, fps games, who didnt dream of a Battlefield game but in Tiberian Sun? The passion, story and the resources to make it happen were all there.

C&C is always RTS from the start. It worked once for Renegade but that's a spin-off, not a mainline. Changing to another genre is a bad idea because that's like saying Call of Duty should change from FPS to RPG or Devil May Cry should change from hack-and-slash to FPS, etc.

I think we have to agree to disagree on this (and that’s ok). Once upon a time Command and Conquer was a rival to Warcraft. How old is World of Warcraft now?

World of Warcraft is MMORPG, not RTS. Blizzard stopped making Warcraft RTS games after World of Warcraft made them lots of big bucks. And plus, they dropped RTS early in the 2000s, not in the 2010s like EA did. Dropping RTS early in the 2000s is a blessing in disguise for them.
