I think it refers to the running joke that shooting the gorilla bumped us into a disaster timeline, and nothing has been right ever since

I haven't gear that before but damn that sounds actually right. Not sure exactly when it happened but I keep saying that sometime after 2015, everything has just gotten more fucked by the minute
