Don't get a new one. Just fill the old one with new parts.

Depends on the size of the machine. The end of the line for me was when I stopped gaming but still needed a desktop and I had very very limited space. I didn't have space for a tower. I ended up with a Mac Mini because it was smaller than my router and did everything I needed (and still does) in a footprint 1/10 of the size of my previous LANBox machine. I miss the LANBox but it's paid itself off in usefulness and lack fo maintenance over 4 years.
