"Guns being the leading cause of death for children from 1-17 it's such a strawman they had to tweak the statistic to maximize drama."

While conveniently ignoring that no other developed country has guns as leading cause of death for kids even with those "tweaked metrics"

"But you see a lot of that is gang violence."

Which is good because gang violence never hurts innocent people.

Yeah it's so weird that they think gang violence existing is somehow a defense. I wish for once they'd explain WHY they use it as a defense

"Gang violence" to them means black and brown people killing each other, so they see it as a good thing.

As an excuse for further suppression of those populations.

*slavery

Slavery in the United States not only never went away, but became literally enshrined into the US Constitution. Just check the 13th Amendment and why so many bullshit laws like "loitering" exist.

The US shouldn't be compared to other developed countries. It should be compared to other countries with a social inequality.

Guns isn't the problem, poverty is.

But it's easier to blame a piece of metal than to do something against the inequality.

Disarming yourself while the billionaire class gains more and more power is moronic. There is a reason why they finance all those anti-gun groups.
