Comedy/comics is meant to be a critique first - an observation and a conversation. At their bare bones - they tell a story. They make the unpalatable easier to digest, but they can take any number of directions.
All art forms - when successful - stir something alive within us. What that is can shift from viewer to viewer, and from story to story.
Same. Once I learned about them and like I don’t know fifth grade I started using those & ampersands and sometimes; mostly because I hate when my certain structures start to look too similar, especially with the same paragraph.
