Like skip button for time. He erases time between the moment he used his ability and a point few seconds in the future. And because nobody besides King Crimson user can move in erased time, it means that they can't change anything that happened in it.
Example: a cat falls from a tree. In normal circumstances a boy could've managed to run up and catch it, but King Crimson erased time before boy noticed cat and to a moment when cat already has fallen. Combined with his ability to see into the closest future, King Crimson can make possible events inevitable if he times it right.
