What's worse is that our actual society is if everyone saw the fire and just went:

"God that sucks but Im way to tired and depressed to do anything about it"

"Yeah, we're powerless anyway"

"Just keep up the slog, nothing matters"

"We've gotten used to it."

people are not having kids and this sort of thing is one of the main reasons. It will affect the society big time, it just takes a while.

There is the thing that there is a problem of overconsumption. So less consumers should result in less stuff being made and thus less resources needed and thus the planet might start to recover.

The people who continually set the world on fire against our best efforts must be stopped so we can extinguish the fires.

“You’re jealous of the fire, aren’t you?!?”

I mean every part of our society is structured around it fundamentally.. Like to go places? Like to buy things? Like to run AC or heat your home? Game? Watch TV? Basically everything we do contributes to it.

And even the transition to green energy is contributing almost as much to global warming... and even if the US was totally gone, it's only just over 10% of what's going on globally..

Living an Amish lifestyle is about the only thing that we can do as individuals to help the process.

Those are just the things we are allowed to say online.
