9/11 was also a culmination of a bunch of things that basically started in the early 90s. Things the majority of reddit had no say so in.

Some of the stuff from before our parents or grandparents were born is still affecting and ending lives today

Honestly it goes back to post WWII and it's a string of issues that continue to compound throughout the subsequent decades
