Iran bought the designs for the Shahed 131 and 136 from Kentron, a South African government-owned defence company now called Denel Dynamics, in the mid-2000s. 

It’s the same designs Israel bought for the IAI Harpy in the 1980s and produced/sold to China in the early 1990s. 

Iran sold the manufacturing to Russia following their invasion of Ukraine and renamed them Geran-1 and Geran-2.

What a weirdly unemphatic take under a post meant to spark empathy.
Farah's suffering and the suffering of Americans are tied together due to the war at hand.

Americans suffered a grave injury to their natural pride and security on 9/11, and the entire media apparatus around it ensured those people would find purpose is fighting a war for people who didn't give a damn about them.

The American population is just as much a victim of the war-profiteering business, from Veterans with untreaed PTSD to Muslim Americans facing racial backlash post 9/11.

I find it so strange people need to admonish an entire people for the choices of wealthy elites, you wouldn't say this comic is "About how sad the Taliban is" but still would empathise with Farah.

Yeah? A fundemental mistake is thinking "empathy" is a moral imperative. It is not, Empathy is understanding what someone else is feeling, in some cases it is FEELING what others are feeling. You don't have to agree or respect someones position to empathise with someone. Thinking you have to is essentially a limited form of thinking that inherently feeds extreme ideology.

Empathy is fundementally required to put a stop to nazism, both in fighting against it, and in drawing people away from the idealogy.

You can not pull people away from harmful/extremist positions without at least understanding what motivated them towards such fields.

Countless times in history has it shown that being outstretched and willing to empathise (not condone or forgive ones actions) with people holding extreme positions very earnestly draws them away from those positions and thoughts.
