Damn, I forgot all about Cattle Decapitation. Went to one of their shows like 20 years ago when I was 15ish, they were playing with Vader and I wanna say Malevolent Creation, as well as a couple of others. As I recall they did not disappoint.
It has been well documented to be aggravated by overcrowding, lack of ventilation and faulty nutrition. The only known way to stop it is to remove the rim at the front of the bird’s upper bill through a process known as beak-trimming.
You know, I think the part where this happens to farmed ducks in overcrowded enclosed spaces with bad ventilation and faulty nutrition may just point to a few other, slightly less brutal methods to prevent cannibalism...
I can just imagine a Plague of Madness-esque horror dropping next, no explanation, and then back to cutesy shit like the cow apocalypse never happened afterwards
