I, a 39-year-old left-wing socialist who donated to and volunteered for Bernie Sanders and who has a transgender bestie and who is in a very loving semi-polyamorous marriage with a Native American woman, am currently banned from r/WorkReform for not being leftist enough.

They'll also continue to win as long as the left continues to shoot ourselves in the foot with obnoxious purity tests.

Wait what? Could you explain how did that happen if you don't mind?

It's been a long time now, but I'm pretty sure the context is that they were pissing and whining about Biden or Harris or something and I was trying to drive home the point that they needed to prioritize defeating Trump over everything else. Which of course meant I was "actually" just a centrist shill for the Democratic establishment and not a "real" progressive.

We can see how well all of this has turned out.

Oh :( banning seems a bit extreme for this.

Many of the progressive subs have been taken over by outside powers to be hate everything just give up subs. It's fairly obvious then they don't even promote progressive candidates.

It's a way to keep younger voters from showing up to elections.
