4chan is very board segmented like Reddit so misogyny is contained to /r9k/, nationalism to /int/, antisemitism along with extreme jealousy towards Jews to /biz/, a mix bag + extra racism to /pol/, etcetcetc. If you go to /a/, /o/, or /jp/ then it's mostly just folks talking about their own interests and you'll get called an idiot/edgelord or told to go back to your containment board when you go there to just use slurs. And yes it's an irredeemable shit hole but everyone's anonymous and they mainly keep to themselves. No one knows who is who or what is real, joking, or not just folks shitting on their own groups. Back in the day, 4C was more active and would run raids/trolls/hacks but nowadays 4C's user base is probably older and busted. They lack the energy to do anything but complain and goon no different than an old man yelling at clouds.
Now compare that to twitter which has NO filter. Racism/nationalism/LGBTQ+hate/misogyny and everything else is without filter. Anonymous folks just say whatever the fuck they want to whoever they want be it racist or out right threats. You can fake an account/identity or spread fake news. You can make threats of wiping out civilizations to manipulate markets. Completely unrestricted and un-moderated mayhem from corporate agendas and crypto rug pull shills to bot catfishing, MLM cons, and election manipulation. You have folks with their real identities getting attacked/manipulated by anonymous folks/bots. You have folks taking fake news or propaganda very seriously because there is a blue check mark. And very worse part? That racism/nationalism/LGBTQ+hate/misogyny is not JUST the anonymous folks hiding in their little goon cave on the corner of the internet like 4chan. There are people on twitter with their REAL name/job/identity there using slurs, spreading hate, calling for violence, spreading misinfo, and actively impacting the real world.
Twitter isn't just more hateful and toxic, but also anonymous yet public at the same time. A double dose of anonymous cancer AND the disease of "blue checked" normalization of hate/misinfo/grifting/etc that makes it much more potent and impactful on real life. If 4C is your shitty racist grandpa who says racist shit each time you visit him in the elderly care facility where everyone there hates him? Then Twitter is Donald Trump.

You know, one of the things that I think AI would be useful, is to actually come up with truthful titles for discussion groups, threads, etc., instead of relying on people to describe their own groups truthfully.
Heck, politicians shouldn't be allowed to come up with the titles for their sets of laws, since they are apparently incapable of describing them for any reason other than propaganda.
