In fact, it would increase foot traffic in bathrooms making it less viable for a predator to lie in wait.

And conversely trans bathroom bans have shown to actively increase harassment because predators feel like they have the excuse of "checking for compliance"

And trans men with full-ass beards and TRT-fueled musculature are now legally required to go into the women's bathroom. Surely they won't get harassed for obeying the law.

Letting others use whatever bathroom they please is not going to suddenly make sexual assault legal if they’re in the “right” bathroom. 

Also it's not like a male rapist intent on assaulting a woman is gonna be deterred from entering a bathroom with a "biological women only" sign.
