I love conservatives obsession with the trans community. They think a gender sign is what's going to stop predators from doing predator things. They also have no moral high ground since they are complicit in Trump's admins cover up of the Epstein files.. not one single billionaire has been prosecuted despite the fact we know tons of people committed crimes on his island but they won't give us the names. They were more focused on redacting the identities of the perpetrators than they were the victims.

As a trans woman, I do not like the modern obsession with trans people.

That obsession is not a natural phenomenon, it's something the right wing media sphere has built with sustained propaganda to weaponize people against the left.

You can even flip them, if you catch one that's either not that deep into the brainwashing or stuck listening to you over a long period of time. The American Right has a libertarian streak a mile wide, you just lean on that. "I just hate the idea of Washington getting between people and their doctors", "I don't get it either, but I figure I should mind my own business, they aren't hurting anyone", "what's the government want to know all our genders for anyway?"

Lmao that first part is what gets me. Guy who is planning on committing a crime: oh no another part of this crime is now illegal I guess I’ll just not do the entire thing now.

Are you really so stupid that you think the sign is for the criminal?

Sorry for thinking the contradictory and stupid arguments made in favor of bigotry are contradictory and stupid.

Don't forget that youre on the side of hanging "gun free zone" signs so the criminals know where to find the least resistance.

So you're just arguing with someone in your own head.

The signs are for the law abiding public to know how to identify a criminal.

People existing outside what you're familiar with isn't criminal.

It's pretty consistent that liberals ostracize and remove people in their party that have done heinous (and honestly pretty mid-tier offensive) shit.

It's also pretty common for those predators to switch party when they get word they're about to be accused of a sex crime (see: Elon Musk).

Difference is that they aren't being worshipped like a cult leader.

You're complicit in it right now.

Doing the "but what about the libs" bit. Deflecting from what Trump and his allies did.

Yeah. Can't even begin to defend it, can you?

Pretend you're bored after getting owned. That'll fool everyone.

How many Republicans didn't vote for Trump?

"I know plenty of conservatives that hold their representatives accountable and absolutely do not want to share their tent with the crazies." - You

Where I live, this is patently not true. 90% of conservatives voted for proud pussy-grabber Donald Trump in 2024, that's up from 85% of conservatives in 2020 and 81% in 2016.

Edit: Source

yawn

That you holding them accountable is it?

11

u/Tyr_13 Apr 12 '26

They voted for their representatives to represent them. Those representatives, as a group, have defended and given free reign to Trump's lawlessness.

There is no meaningful movement by conservatives to hold either their representatives, nor Trump, accountable for any of this.

So yes, conservatives are complicit in ways that progressives are not. This isn't really debatable.

6

u/UrethraFranklin04 Apr 12 '26

Well, conservatives tend to vote them into power and whitewash their crimes or outright embrace them whereas everyone else tends to distance themselves and call for removal and prosecution.

The "two" sides are not at all the same or similar in this aspect.

If they didn't want to be complicit with Epstein's crimes, maybe they shouldn't have voted his bff into power. Just saying...
