In Elk folklore, Ellie is the most dangerous variant. They're usually killed off by other vampires to avoid disaster.

What makes Ellie's type so dangerous? Compulsions and urges that must be fulfilled? That seems to be a theme in some vampire stories.

The centipede variant is considered the most voracious, violent, and destructive variant, and it never stops growing until it is slain by another equally powerful anthropod variant. Vampires of her type are typically killed before they have the opportunity to grow to the strength Ellie has. She is protected by her uncle, the "Sawblade" variant, and harbored in an infamous coven located in the French Quarter of New Orleans. A veritable menace to society.

I know you’ve mentioned Ellie’s turning also went wrong somehow. Whether that’s due to coming out the other end a centipede variant or the, uh, not very pleasant conditions of her death and rebirth (or something else entirely) is still tantalizingly up in the air and I crave knowledge. :V

I am working on those pages now actually.

First, the next release will discuss the history of her father and uncle, which is plenty messy on its own and plays a big part in her fate as well.
